On June 22 Aveda introduced our newest hairspray "Control Force".  Control Force is the firmest hold hair spray that Aveda offers that provides 24 hours humidity defense and all day firm hold.  Our staff displayed the possibilities that Control Force provides.

This April was Earth Month which we annually raise money in support of clean water efforts. Some clean water facts include: 

One in seven people lack access to clean water worldwide.

At any given time, half of the worlds hospital beds are occupied by patients suffering from a water related disease.  

We raised money this year by having bake sales, denim days, and our annual Runway Project held at the Eastwood Mall.  The proceeds of our Earth Month fundraising went to The Sierra Club of Ohio, and The Alliance for the Great Lakes and totaled over $9,000.00.  

Casal's de Spa and Salon traveled to the Eastwood Expo Center Bridal Show on January 9 and 10, 2010.  The event featured hair and makeup done by stylists from Casal's.  Please call to book your upcoming bridal services for you and your wedding party today!!

Fresh out of the UK Payson Cowie is back in the states with a brand new sense of style and whole new attitude on styling hair. Payson pulls his creativity from the world around him, and is always up to date with the newest techniques and hairstyles. He loves music and art and both play a large role in his unique style. Payson started his career in 2007 when he attended Casal Aveda Institute. While there he participated in many events and has since been racking up the awards. Payson was one of the Aveda congress 2008 Student artists, he won the Casal Aveda Institute 2008 Fantasy Fair; which landed him onstage at the Aveda Congress in Minneapolis; and he won 1st place at the Casal’s de Spa and Salon Runway Project 2009. After graduating from Casal Aveda Institute and working as an apprentice at Casal’s de Spa and Salon, Payson then attended a twelve-week comprehensive cutting course at Vidal Sassoon London to further his skills. From the moment he started his career in hair, Payson has been completely dedicated to learning new innovative techniques and is always trying to push the boundaries. Payson uses his off time to experiment and develop the newest trend. Along with all of Payson’s skills, he is very charismatic and he will always make you feel right at home while your hair is in his hands.
