Wanda Huberman, along with her husband Mark, recently traveled to Sugar Ridge Resort on Grand Antigua with Pure Privilege points she earned from her visits to Casal’s. Wanda has been a guest of Casal’s since our opening in 1994. She began the Aveda Pure Privilege Program a few years ago and saved her points for this wonderful trip.

Amanda Keith from the Sierra Club of Ohio and Casal’s de Spa & Salon partnered for Earth Month this April. Amanda challenged Casal’s to reach their fundraising goal this year by making an outrageous promise. If Casal’s made their goal, she pledged to cut off her long, curly hair and dye her new pixie cut BLUE(!) in support of clean water initiatives. Well, Casal’s met their goal and during the Earth Month Golf Outing on April 28th, Amanda did just what she promised. With the help of stylist Meghan Crum and colorist Kala Smith, Amanda was transformed. She now sports a very short, very blue, stylish pixie cut. Amanda donated her cut hair to Wigs for Kids and although the color will be temporary, she’s hoping it will raise awareness for the work the Sierra Club does throughout Ohio in support of clean waterways.
